Your work as an order picker
As an Order Picker, you are responsible for picking and preparing orders within a logistics warehouse or distribution centre. You work according to clear instructions and with tools such as scanners or picking lists, so you know exactly which products to pick.
You ensure that items are selected, checked and made ready for dispatch in the right place. Together with colleagues, you ensure that the logistics process runs smoothly and that customers receive their orders on time.
